This very simple, traditional recipe has
been enjoyed by thousands over the years.
1 pound cleaned and picked over cranberries
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup brandy
About an hour
Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
Spread the cranberries in an oven-proof skillet
and sprinkle the sugar over the top of the berries.
Cover the skillet tightly and bake for one hour.
Pour the brandy over the top of the cranberries.
Serve hot or cold.
Try apple cider or
orange juice over the cranberries, instead of the brandy.
