A classic to accompany a ballgame and a beer!
Prepare Wing Sauce by combining one stick of melted butter and one cup of Durkee's Hot Sauce in a shallow bowl. Add Tabasco if necessary.
Clean and separate 16 chicken wings. Snip off the wing tips with kitchen shears.
Deep fry in hot corn oil until they are good and brown.
Transfer to a bowl full of Wing Sauce.
Serve with celery sticks and bleu cheese dressing: 8 oz Sour Cream, 1/4 lb bleu cheese, 1/2 C mayonnaise, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. If you feel a need to be more health-conscious, the addition of a tablespoon or so of chopped parsley should satisfy your vegetable requirement.
Serve with cold beer and camaraderie.
